The future is near is Linda-Ray's second debute album. The album features songs that represent living life to the fullest, and letting go of perfection. She explores with sound, auto-tune and heavy beats in this album, giving a futuristic sound to rap and r&b.
The album cover was shot in Johannesburg South Africa by Neo Kgotlagomang (neothecloudeater).
